Dulux Automotive transitions to Nippon Paint Automotive Refinish

DuluxGroup confirms the transition of Dulux Automotive into the Nippon Paint Automotive Refinish (AR) business, effective 1 July 2026, marking an important step in strengthening capability across Australia and New Zealand.​

From this date, Dulux Automotive will integrate into Nippon Paint global Automotive Refinish network, bringing together complementary expertise, technology and product portfolios. This transition is designed to enhance long term service, innovation and product availability for customers.​

Customers can expect continuity in their day to day experience, with existing Dulux Automotive sales teams continuing to provide support as they move into the Nippon Paint AR business. Manufacturing and distribution will continue via the established Dulux Group supply chain, ensuring consistency and reliability throughout the transition period.​

The current Dulux Automotive product portfolio will remain supported, with selected ranges progressively transitioning to Nippon Paint branding over time. Customers will also gain access to a broader range of Nippon Paint Automotive Refinish products.​

To support a smooth changeover, customers are encouraged to review key transition dates and ensure their Nippon Paint Automotive Refinish accounts are established ahead of 1 July.​
